Jodie’s Saint Lucia Experience: More Than Just a Holiday

After an incredible week exploring Saint Lucia in June, Jodie is headed home with a suitcase full of memories, hundreds of photos and videos, and, most importantly, a whole new level of knowledge to share with her customers.

And this definitely wasn’t your typical week in paradise!

There were early starts, hotel inspections, room tours, site visits and a LOT of walking, but it was also the perfect opportunity to experience Saint Lucia properly and discover what makes each resort different.

🌴 Seeing the Resorts First-Hand

During her trip, Jodie explored resort after resort, viewing countless room types, walking the grounds, checking out the facilities and getting a feel for the locations.

From boutique hideaways tucked away in tropical gardens to huge beachfront resorts, luxury suites with private pools and family-friendly properties packed with facilities, she got to see exactly what each hotel has to offer.

She was able to look beyond the brochure and ask the questions that really matter when choosing the right holiday:

What is the beach actually like?

How close are the restaurants and bars?

Which rooms work best for families?

Where would couples feel most at home?

Which resorts feel peaceful and secluded?

And which are best for guests who want everything on their doorstep?

That first-hand experience makes such a difference when helping customers choose where to stay.

🏖️ Bay Gardens Beach Resort

One of the resorts Jodie visited was Bay Gardens Beach Resort, located directly on Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay.

With its fantastic beachfront location and easy access to the bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife of Rodney Bay, it’s a great option for travellers who don't want to feel isolated.

😍 Then There’s Jade Mountain…

Some hotel rooms are beautiful…

…and then there’s Jade Mountain.

Jodie described this as unlike anywhere she has experienced before.

The spectacular open-sided suites are designed to bring the Caribbean surroundings right into the room, with incredible views towards the iconic Pitons and private infinity pools.

It’s the kind of property that really needs to be seen to be appreciated — and Jodie has plenty of photos and videos from her visit to show you exactly what makes it so special.

🌺 East Winds – A Hidden Caribbean Escape

Jodie also explored East Winds, a beautiful boutique property surrounded by lush tropical gardens and set along its own secluded beach.

It has a completely different feel from the larger resorts.

Think charming cottage-style accommodation, peaceful surroundings and a more intimate atmosphere, perfect for travellers looking for a quieter Caribbean escape.

It was one of the properties that really demonstrated just how varied Saint Lucia’s accommodation can be.

🌴 Windjammer Landing

Another highlight was Windjammer Landing, where Jodie found one of her favourite room types.

For families or groups of friends who want space, the villas are particularly impressive.

With multiple bedrooms, generous living areas and plenty of room to spread out, they offer that lovely home-from-home feeling, while still giving you access to the facilities and atmosphere of a luxury Caribbean resort.

For a family holiday, having that extra space can make a huge difference.
