Travel is worth waiting for and we’re still dreaming of both past and future travels here at All About Travel. Today, we're catching up with Jodie Brotherton - Sales Consultant, to take a look back at her favourite travel memories and to see where’s next on the holiday hit list!

Been there... Mexico... I loved Mexico! It has something for everyone. For stunning laid back beaches I’d recommend the riviera Maya region. Make sure you visit the Mayan ruins and immerse yourself in the rich history on offer. If it’s nightlife you seek, take a trip to the world famous coco bongo nightclub! By day, make a trip to Xel-ha park for adventure including zip lining and diving.

Done that... Cruising! This image was taken on a short city break cruise on board Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth. I love everything about cruising. Waking up and stepping onto your balcony and embracing the days destination. The food is always amazing too, so many options, I become a little bit of a glutton! There’s always something to do, when embarked I’m out and about discovering the port of call, and if evenings and sea days I can be found taking part in the days activities, or on top deck with a cocktail.

Where next... New York has been on our bucket list for sometime. It was my sons dream destination after many years of watching Home alone! However, after two cancelled trips we still haven’t made it. As soon as it’s safe to visit we cannot wait to explore! We will be taking in all of the usual touristy things, such as Statue of Liberty, top of the Rock, 9/11 memorial museum. We also have been tipped to dine at the river cafe, situated under Brooklyn bridge with panoramic skyline views of Manhattan. So we cannot wait to get this ticked off!
